H2O
The element bringing life to planet earth: Water. In this series, I captured the human body getting in touch with it.
SURROUNDINGS
Breathe in. Breathe out.
Stop time for a few seconds.
The world we live in is noisy, it is chaotic. We live in a time of crises and wars. In the midst of this chaos, we quickly forget ourselves. We forget that there are also moments that are beautiful, full of life, or even whimsical. We no longer perceive it.

So I created a photographic work (book) to capture the atmospheres in the air and reveal the small moments that we've forgotten because we don't take enough time to just look around us and let the world sink in.

Moments that are beautiful. Scurril. Mercurious. Nostalgic. And convey the feeling of freedom, of dpaturel.
That remind us that we are alive.

It is about making the univisible be seen.
Here you can see some of the atmosheric photos in detail:
FUZZY DREAMS
Till this day, Gergory Crewdson is my all-time favorite photographer. The way he builds up a story by just one single picture inspires me in so many ways!
The three following photographs can be seen as an hommage to him as an artist.

HOME, SWEET
HOME
This series was made during the covid- lockdown and shows my perception of what home meant to me at that time. It was the view out of my window to the other buildings.
In a very graphic way, it shows the physical isolation to other people during the pandemic.

ANALOGUE PHOTOGRAPHY:
BUZZIN' HEADZ
In this series, I not only did analogue photography, but also fully developed the pictures myself in a darkroom. The theme of the series is to show the inner perception of different stages of a drugged person (alcohol, weed, other drugs) in an artistic way. To do so, I used different time slots under the enlarger and moved the photographs of people whom I photographed during a party night in different speeds and movements. In this way, every picture looks different as a trip also feels different for each individual. The inside of the heads gets shown to the outside. The trip gets stronger for everyone, but in different ways.
